Fitchburg City Hall Campus

Renovation of a local historic landmark.

Colliers Project Leaders is providing owner’s project management services for Fitchburg’s City Hall Campus Project.

Located prominently on 700-718 Main Street, Fitchburg City Hall is considered a local historic landmark by the community. Unfortunately, the building and site have fallen into disrepair, mainly attributed to deficiencies in the building’s systems and components which were not addressed to the full extent over the 160 years of occupancy.

The City Hall Campus Project will involve nearly total demolition and renovation of 718 Main Street, with removal and replacement of the roof as a crucial part of the project, and system replacement, layout redesign, and restoration of the old auditorium space to be divided into meeting and offices spaces. In addition, 700 Main Street will see a redesign of the workspace, upgrade of systems, and envelope repairs. Finally, a parking deck and plaza upgrade will occur for the entire site.
