MGM Springfield Casino

Commissioning for a new casino complex.

Colliers Project Leaders provided commissioning services for the new MGM Springfield. The complex included a gaming facility with over 2,500 slot machines, 90 table games, and 20 poker tables as well as a 250-room hotel, a spa, three world-class restaurants, a movie theater, a 10-lane bowling alley, a 44,000 square foot conference center, and a variety of retail offerings. The MGM Springfield project met LEED Certification Requirements.

The Colliers Project Leaders commissioning team also provided commissioning services to the ancillary spaces supporting the complex including the 8-story garage, a day care center (LEED Platinum), and office space in adjacent historic buildings.

We participated in the design review process to evaluate system performance in accordance with the Owner’s Project Requirements and to improve system operability and accessibility for maintenance. We collaborated with the design team to develop commissioning and training specifications for the project to ensure the Owner’s team was prepared to operate the complex.
