Helping Connecticut drive energy efficiency.

Eversource and United Illuminating (UI) launched a Retro-Commissioning Program providing financial incentives available through the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF). The program is designed for Eversource and UI customers who are interested in conducting an in-depth review for inefficiencies in their buildings’ energy management systems and operating practices. The objective of this program is to find low- or no-cost, non-capital energy efficient measures that can be implemented effectively and quickly, resulting in decreased energy consumption.

As a participant in this program, Pfizer retained Colliers Project Leaders to provide a building survey of its Global Research and Development facility in New London, Connecticut as well as to identify potential Energy Conservation Measures.

We completed its initial survey of the multi-structure facility and identified multiple Energy Conservation Measures. These measures were drawn from the survey and investigation of the facility’s boiler, chiller, envelope, hot water, lighting, and HVAC systems. Additionally, each measure provided Pfizer with the estimated implementation cost and energy savings.
