Commissioning of new LEED Gold Certified Casino.

Colliers Project Leaders was engaged by Penn National Gaming to provide commissioning services for the new Plainridge Park Casino. The 106,000 square foot complex features 1,250 slot machines, an upscale restaurant, the first Doug Flutie Sports Bar, and a banquet room — while maintaining the horse racing that was happening there already.

We provided integrated commissioning services in accordance with LEED EA Prerequisite 1, Fundamental Commissioning and EA Credit 3, Enhanced Commissioning from the design through the warranty phase.

In the role of commissioning agent, we coordinated the functions of system documentation, equipment start-up, control system calibrations, testing and balancing, performance testing, and training. Our team also verified that all commissioning procedures were completed in accordance with LEED Gold Certification.
