Colliers was hired to complete the extensive renovation of the Red Hat Executive Briefing Center (EBC) and Engineering Lab facility located in Boston's Historic Seaport. This project featured cutting-edge technology set in a historic wharf building along with two unique, “hidden” rooms, one of which is a private speakeasy.

One major challenge of the historic space was overcoming unacceptable acoustics for the programmatic requirements of the EBC. Colliers commissioned an acoustic engineer specialist to investigate and provide recommendations which were used to secure additional funds for the build-out.

The project was delivered in time to align with the client’s Boston-based annual summit, and has been highly successful in driving a record number of briefings in the new EBC. The increased demand for the space resulted in Red Hat engaging Colliers again to lead the build-out of an additional expansion space on floor two.
